MultiFiber LC Cables

Pre-terminated indoor/outdoor multifiber LC fiber optic cable assemblies are designed to support current data needs while meeting the ever-increasing network needs of the future.

It is ideal for connecting two buildings through underground pipes installed in the entrance facility. Indoor multi-core tap multifiber LC cables are low-cost pre-assembled cables designed for indoor interconnection between transmission equipment and wiring boards or similar fixed lines. Fiber optic cables have industry-standard flammability grade sheaths and connectors comply with EIA/TIA 604-2 of high-speed cable networks.

The ribbon fiber cable looks like a ribbon and is therefore called a ribbon fiber cable, which consists of 8, 12 or 24 fibers that line side by side.

Multifiber LC fiber cables have a high fiber density and can save space when space is limited, which is important for upstream applications that require high density fiber. The first advantage of Multifiber LC fiber cables is that they save space. As previously mentioned in this article, Multifiber LC fiber cables can save up to 45% of space and three times the capacity of fiber trays compared to traditional fiber cables. The second advantage of Multifiber LC fiber cables is cost and time savings. Multifiber LC fiber cables allow 12 fibers to be stitched together at the same time, reducing labor time and costs.
In addition, ribbon fiber cables allow more fiber to fit in smaller fiber cables, which meets the need for high density and high bandwidth. Multifiber LC fiber cables can be divided into flat ribbon fiber cables and circular ribbon fiber cables depending on their shape, the only difference between them is the shape.

It should be noted that parallel fibers are arranged side by side in two different shapes of Multifiber LC fiber cables.

Multifiber LC fiber cables can be divided into single-mode multifiber fiber cables and multi-mode multifiber fiber cables according to fiber type, their sheaths are flame retardant and non-flame retardant, fiber cables with non-flame retardant sheaths are commonly used outdoors, and fiber optic cables with flame retardant sheaths are commonly used in indoor applications.

Multifiber LC fiber cables can be used in indoor FTTH network and indoor/outdoor point-to-point applications, as well as interconnect and cross-applications of MTP fiber optic wiring boxes.

The 12-core multifiber fiber cable is one of the most widely used in multifiber fiber cables, and the 12-core Multifiber LC fiber cable can be easily terminated by single-hand, duplex or MTP connectors such as LC connectors or SC connectors. Multifiber LC fiber cables can also be stitched with loose sleeve fiber optic cables.

This is done by removing the coating of the Multifiber LC fiber cable and stitching together 12 fiber-optic fusion splicing in bulk. Multifiber LC fiber cables have different shapes.

Multifiber LC fiber cables are Multifiber LC fiber optic cables, most of which are flat in shape, while beam fiber cables are beamed fiber optic cables, most of which are round; The structure of Multifiber LC fiber cables and beam fiber cables is different.

The multifiber fiber cable is composed of fiber optic band, while the beam fiber cable is usually composed of 0.9mm loose sleeve; The fiber arrangement of Multifiber LC fiber cables and beam fiber cables is different.

The fiber inside the ribbon fiber cable is arranged in a row in color order, ribbon, and the arrangement form is more fixed, while the fiber inside the beam fiber cable is not arranged, each fiber is relatively independent. As we all know, ribbon fiber cables and loose sleeve fiber optic cables in the harsh outdoor environment are performing well, and can provide a variety of insulation, armor and other configurations, and compared with loose sleeve fiber optic cable, multifiber fiber cable not only has the same performance as loose sleeve fiber optic cable, but also better in terms of fiber density. In addition, ribbon fiber cables require less stitching time than loose sleeve fiber optic cables, which means that ribbon fiber cables require less installation costs and less emergency recovery time.
